The authors of Gentry et al. (2021) would like to thank the California Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) scientists for their thorough review in their letter to the editor dated March 19, 2021 regarding our recently pub-lished article. We welcome this opportunity for scientific discourse. The comments offered by OEHHA based on their review have highlighted areas where we thought additional explanation and clarification could be provided. Importantly, even a careful consideration of OEHHA’s points in no way changes the credibility of our analyses or the outcome of our assessment.
