Dr. Ly Ly Pham is a Scientist III working with the Center for 21st Century Toxicology in the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, area. Dr. Pham has a decade of experience applying computational and modeling approaches to transform prediction of chemical toxicity. She has broad research background in biology, in vivo studies, statistical models, and classification using machine learning. She has generated a murine cancer model in order to elucidate the molecular mechanism of hepatocellular carcinoma. She has used computational methods to evaluate cancer-relevant molecular pathways, and machine learning to classify transcriptomic data from cancer data. At the EPA, she created a pipeline to batch dose-response modeling for more than 20,000 response curves using BMDS. Dr. Pham’s experience also includes characterizing the uncertainty in a large database of in vivo studies to provide an upper bound of predictivity that would support predictive modeling for generation of New Alternative Methods (NAMs).
